Rebalancing bodywork

Our bodies carry memories, stories of joy, pain, love, and loss. Sometimes, these experiences are hard to put into words, yet they can be felt: as a slight pressure on the chest, a knot in the stomach, or a tense breath. By listening attentively to these subtle signals without immediately trying to explain them, a deeper wisdom can emerge. This allows you to sense your boundaries more clearly and enhances the connection with yourself, enabling you to make choices with greater confidence that truly honor your authentic needs and values.

How it works

In a healthy body, everything is in motion, creating a sense of space and resilience. However, unprocessed experiences and unconscious patterns can disrupt this natural flow, potentially leading to physical or emotional symptoms. Rebalancing focuses on restoring this harmony through conversation, mindfulness-based self-exploration and massage. Gentle, conscious touch helps to calm the nervous system and cultivates a profound sense of presence and safety. This supports the release of long-held tensions and stress patterns while enhancing your ability to listen to your body’s subtle signals. By bringing mindful awareness to bodily sensations, emotions, and experiences, you deepen your connection with yourself, opening the door to meaningful change and allowing new possibilities to emerge naturally.

What does a session look like

We begin with an orienting conversation in which you can tell what you like to get out of the session for yourself. Your wish is the guideline of our work together. During the session we will explore the issue that is important to you. Touch, with respect for your boundaries, is part of the session. This supports the release of long-held tensions and stress patterns. We often conclude with a brief look back at what we started with. This helps to integrate the changes that have taken place.

When to choose Rebalancing

  • When you want to get more in touch with yourself: this is a valuable approach if you want to become more aware of your own body and feelings, and learn to listen better to what your body is telling you.
  • When you have physical complaints without a clear cause: Sometimes physical complaints such as pain, tension or fatigue can arise from unprocessed experiences and unconscious patterns.
  • You feel stuck: If you are struggling to move forward in your personal development, working with your body can open the door to new insights and growth.
  • You are experiencing stress, anxiety or trauma: we focus on reducing stress, anxiety and trauma stored in the body and increasing your sense of wellbeing.

Practical

  • Some clients experience relief from their symptoms after only a few sessions, especially if the problems are less profound. Then, scheduling 5 to 10 sessions may be sufficient. For clients working on deeper patterns, such as trauma, chronic stress or complex emotional issues, it may be necessary to work together over a longer period of time.
  • Most health insurance companies partially reimburse Rebalancing.
